Ines Tričković, born in Dubrovnik in 1982, has an unusual musical path for today's circumstances, which may remind us of former American jazz giants, mostly self-taught, and even of growing up in a bombed and destroyed city, where at that time she was nourished by listening to jazz singers Billie Holiday and Elle Fitzgerald and jazz instrumentalists Chet Baker, Miles Davis and John Coltrane, becoming, thanks to her expressive voice and sense for jazz interpretation without a single day of music school, one of the most prestigious Croatian jazz singers today. Just some of the successes in her rich musical path are a performance at the prestigious Carnegie Hall, NYC, the Porin Award for Best Jazz Performance, and over 3000 performances around the world and collaborations with world-class jazz musicians such as Aaron Goldberg, Gilad Helselman, Marcus Gilmore.
